And so I let them fall away
these Chains I fell in Love with.
Distractions, from my Soul.
No longer Pulled am I.
And Freedom feels so good.
For after all, choices aren't actually chains,
Neither are decisions meant to be Links that bind.
Sometimes we make the Right decision
And it Turns out Wrong,
Sometimes what Looks like the Wrong decision
Turns out to be Just the thing that Fits, for you.
As My Heart flies Freely, now
I am more Mindful to check My motivations
And Not Trade-in those Old deep-set Distractions,
for "New-and-Improved"-promising Shiny Ones.
Again, and Again it comes down to this with Me:
The Head and the Heart, When to Use, Which to Listen for ...
Well, I'm using Both this time and I'm choosing My Life,
Instead of Life Choosing me.
